Student Visa – Information
Bonafide students intending to pursue full-time academic programs at recognized educational institutions in India can apply for a Student Visa.
Validity: The visa duration corresponds with the length of the course. If only provisional admission is granted, a Provisional Student Visa will be issued.
Entries: Up to three entries per year may be permitted under this visa category.
Important: The School/College/University/Institute in India must issue an original admission/bonafide letter to the student in advance. The student must present this letter during the visa application. A copy may also be sent directly to the Embassy.
This rule has been effective since August 1, 2011.
Note: Non-Thai nationals who have resided in Thailand for less than 3 years are not eligible to apply for a Student Visa.
