Application Instructions for Applicants in Bangkok
- All foreign nationals applying for a visa in Bangkok are required to complete a Reference Form in addition to the online visa application.

- Print the Reference Form
- Fill in the details using BLACK INK ONLY and in CAPITAL LETTERS
- Submit the completed Reference Form along with your online visa application
How To Apply
- Create an Account: Register on the Du Digital Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website.
Click here to register. - Fill Out the Government Application Form: Click here to access the form.
- Book an Appointment: Schedule your visit to Du Digital ICAC by choosing a suitable date and time.
Click here to book your appointment - Prepare Your Documents: Carry your passport, photographs, and all supporting documents as listed in the Documents Checklist section.
- Visit Du Digital ICAC: Visit the designated ICAC (as per your jurisdiction). The address and location will be mentioned in your appointment letter. Ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.
- Submit Your Application & Pay Fees: Submit your documents and pay the applicable fees at ICAC. Refer to the Fee Details section for exact charges.
- Enroll for Biometrics (if required): Complete biometric enrollment if applicable.
- Application Submission Complete: You’ve successfully submitted your visa application.
- Track Your Application: Monitor your application’s status online.

Conference Visa for Non-Thai
- Duly filled Application form
- Photo 2 inch x 2 inch only white background (2 photos)
- Copy passport first page (2 copies)
- Copy Thai visa (1 copy) and work permit/Tangdao (1 set)
- Copy old India visa (1 copy) (if available)
- Invitation letter from company in India
- Clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs, Nodal Affairs, or Home Affairs
- Original letter from the Thai company with seal (mentioning purpose of visit)
- NON-THAI FORM (only black ink)
- Flight booking ticket (in-out India) (if available)
- Hotel booking in India (if available)
- Original passport must have at least 2 blank pages with minimum 6 months validity
Conference Visa for Thai
- Duly filled Application form
- Photo 2 inch x 2 inch only white background (2 photos)
- Copy passport first page (2 copies)
- Copy Thai ID card (1 copy)
- Copy old India visa (1 copy)
- Invitation letter from company in India
- Clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs, Nodal Affairs, or Home Affairs

No. Business-related travel requires a Business Visa. The Conference Visa is strictly for academic or policy-related events. - How long is the Conference Visa valid?
It is typically valid for the duration of the conference, including reasonable travel time. Extensions are not common. - Can I bring my family with me?
In most cases, Conference Visas are issued only to the invitee. Accompanying dependents may not be eligible unless officially invited. - Do I need an appointment to submit my application?
Yes. All applicants must book an appointment and visit the designated DU Digital Global Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) at the scheduled time. Walk-ins are not permitted. - Is visa approval guaranteed once I apply?
No. Submission does not guarantee approval. All decisions are at the sole discretion of the Indian Embassy/Consulate.
