Business Visa Information
A Business Visa is issued to foreign nationals who wish to travel to India for the purpose of:
- Establishing or exploring the possibility of setting up an industrial or business venture
- Purchasing or selling industrial products in India
Validity
The duration of the visa depends on the contractual terms specific to each case.

Application Process in Bangkok
All foreign nationals applying for a Business Visa in Bangkok are required to complete a Reference Form in addition to the Online Visa Application.

Instructions for Non-Thai Applicants
- Please print the Reference Form
- Complete it in CAPITAL LETTERS using BLACK INK ONLY
- Submit the filled form along with your online visa application

Business Visa – Thai Nationals
- Completed online visa application form
- Two recent photographs (2 inch x 2 inch) with a white background
- Two copies of the passport bio page
- One copy of Thai ID card
- Letter from the Thai company affixed with the official company seal (must clearly state the purpose of the visit).
Original signature and company seal required.
If Certificate of Employment is issued outside Thailand, it must specify the reason why it cannot be issued in Thailand. - Invitation letter from company in India (original/copy)
- Copy of registration paper/Certificate of Incorporation of Indian company
- Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity and a minimum of two blank pages
- Copy of previous Indian business visa (if applicable)
- China Form for Chinese passport (must be filled in capital letters)
Business for Sport:
- Invitation letter from sports organization in India (original/copy)
- Clearance from Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs (MEA/MHA)
- Certificate letter from Thai organization specifying the purpose of visit (original signature or company seal only)
Business Visa – Non-Thai Nationals
- Completed online visa application form
- Two recent photographs (2 inch x 2 inch) with a white background
- Two copies of the passport bio page
- One copy of valid Thai visa
- One copy of valid Thai work permit
- Invitation letter from the company in India (original/copy)
- Letter from the Thai company affixed with the company seal (must clearly state the purpose of the visit).
Original signature and company seal required.
If Certificate of Employment is issued outside Thailand, it must specify the reason why it cannot be issued in Thailand. - Copy of registration papers/Certificate of Incorporation of Indian company

(must be completed using black ink only and in capital letters) - Original passport with at least 6 months’ validity and a minimum of two blank pages

- Bangladesh Form for Bangladesh passport / Sri Lanka Form for Sri Lankan passport
- Sponsorship Certificate for Pakistani passport
- For Pakistan passport: all documents must be submitted with five extra copies
- China Form for Chinese passport (must be filled in capital letters)
Business for Sport:
- Invitation letter from sports organization in India (original/copy)
- Clearance from Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs (MEA/MHA)
- Certificate letter from Thai organization specifying the purpose of visit (original signature or company seal only)
