Indian nationals who are pensioners and currently residing in South Korea can obtain attestation of Life Certificate or Pension-related documents through the Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC). This service is essential for continuing to receive pension benefits from Indian government departments or pension disbursing agencies.

The attestation serves as a verification of the pensioner’s identity and life status, as required annually or periodically by pension authorities in India.

How To Apply

  1. Create an Account: Register on the Du Digital Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) website.

  6. Submit Your Application & Pay Fees: Submit your documents and pay the applicable fees at ICAC. Refer to the Fee Details section for exact charges.
  7. Enroll for Biometrics (if required): Complete biometric enrollment if applicable.
  8. Application Submission Complete: You’ve successfully submitted your application.

List of Documents to be submitted along with the application-

  1. Duly filled Life Certificate Form.
  2. Original valid Indian Passport.
  3. Photocopy of the passport’s first and last pages.
  4. Valid Korean Visa / ARC (Alien Registration Card) – original and copy.
  5. Proof of address in South Korea (e.g., utility bill or rental agreement).
  6. Two recent photographs (3.5 x 3.5 cm, blue background), if required by the applicant’s bank or pension disbursing authority in India.
  7. PPO (Pension Payment Order) number or copy of PPO document (if applicable).
  8. Applicant must be physically present at ICAC for signature verification.
  9. The applicant must sign the Life Certificate in duplicate in the presence of the Consular Officer at the ICAC.
  10. Pensioners can also use the Jeevan Pramaan digital life certificate portal if biometric authentication is accessible.
